Ibanez J custom Vs RG 2820
I was wondering which of this guitar you prefer. One is a J custom 1712, and the other is a discontinued model (rg2820).
I caN BUY THEM FOR ABOUT 1200 EUROS, BUT i DONīT KNOW TO BUY THEM OR NOT, AND WHICH ONE TO BUY.
Has someone got them???

lol, but seriously, the RG is the BEST guitar shape EVER! and the ibanez headstock shape is also the best headstock shape ever.
but on my ran, its going to be an rg body with a reversed esp pointy headstock because i dont think the ran logo would look right on a ibanez shaped headstock.

i love the esp pointy reverse headstock, and it seems like a suitable substitute, and plus the ran logo looks perfect on it, so i will go with that:

i was thinking of getting a blank ibanez shaped headstock and then buying an ibanez logo from ebay and then putting it on it, but i dont think ran will give me a blank headstock so i will go to the next best thing. |

Glossy black RG with white body, neck and headstock binding, ebony fretboard, emg 81/85 and official floyd rose.
mainly inspired by mick thompsons black rg

I was thinking that if i were to order a ran one day, i would have the headstock blank (or maybe a design on it) and Ran on the 12th fret.
I think its important to let people know what you're playing, especially if you appreciate the guitar and work gone into it. Its helping the brand advertise, plus its their signature on the guitar, as an artist signs a painting.
