u have to go to where the springs are under ur guitar ok. u need to tighten or loosen them. when u put ur strings on if the bridge is poped up u need to tighten and if its the opposite loosen.
what tunning are u looking for and what guage strings do u have?

If you tune lower you need bigger strings and thus more springs to adjust the tension. If you tune higher you will have thinner strings and need less springs. So just keep adjusting the springs untill the bridge is straight. ( not too far forward and not too far backward ) I tune to Drop A with a trem with .013 and i need 4 springs for example. You also have th4ese little screws where the springs are. if you turn those you can also adjust the bridge. k13m told me that one

Trial and error is the best way. Put your strings on and sit there with a tuner and a screw driver. Tune your strings as best you can to the tuning you require then adjust the springs at the back to increase tension on the trem or decrease it till all the strings are in tune correctly and the trem lies flat to the body. It's a pain in the ass to do at times but at least if you have a go yourself you gain a sense of achievment when you pull it off.
That guy in the shop won't ever tell you as he'll lose a customer!

Thanks for the replys & thats exactly why he wont tell me, guess he can use the $9.95 but being like that just drove me away so i will just buy everything i need online from now on. So he lost a customer & if he was cool about it i would buy strings or whatever i needed from him just because its down the street.
