Nickelback & Dime
Nickelback Song To Feature Unreleased Dimebag Solo
A previously unreleased solo by late Pantera and Damageplan guitarist Dimebag Darrell will appear on Nickelback's upcoming new album, 'All The Right Reasons'. The 24-second guitar lead was donated to the band by Dime's brother, drummer Vinnie Paul, and assembled from outtakes from the Pantera albums 'Vulgar Display of Power', and 'Far Beyond Driven'.
The solo will appear on the band's track "Side Of A Bullet", which was written as a tribute to the late guitarist. 'All The Right Reasons' is due out October 4th via Roadrunner.

I couldnt see a dimebag solo fitting into anything nickelback would play, it sounds pretty interesting though.... any idea when this will be released?

i liked that king solo in "no sleep to brooklyn", its a slayer solo in one of the most low-brow, no-budget rap albums ever made, completely random and its a totally untabbable noise solo.
anyways to be on-topic, im sure Vinnie is getting paid bigtime to let this happen, kinda like when p. diddy did rap to that led zepplin song which im sure everyone everywhere hated.

Hey, what you got against Cradle of Shit? No, I don't listen to 'em. Heard of the band but never really heard any of their music. I generally dislike black metal.
As for Mudvayne, I used to listen to it, haven't done so in ages, and hey, Nickelback ain't nu metal so I'm safe, right? 
As for Nickelback using Dime's solo in their song, Vinnie Paul approves of it, so I don't see why any of you people are bitching. Now, maybe a hero can save us, but........... |
