difficulty
the only reason its probably hard is because you havent been playing for a long time......because frantic disembowlment is one of the easiest songs for me.....any cannibal corpse song is easy....you just have to keep working at it till you get it...and just keep practicing....and practice finger and hand movements up and down your guitar.....and fast picking....on any chord or anything...just for practice....to get your speed up....and your pacing faster....and then begin to start playing that....if it isnt fast now...then just try that....and it will being to help....goodluck.....

This may sound wierd but that is the easiest part of the song for me, for some reason I find the first verse where each note is played twice the hardest. I have problems playing notes more than once in a moderate speed, but for playing many different notes at really high speeds that easy for me and I have no idea why. |

I use three fingers and rarely ever do I use my pinky. It is hard for me to use my pinky, maybe because I've been practicsing with three fingers from the start. Anyway that riff doesn't have a lot of stretching so it easy to use three fingers for that part. Children of Decadence is another amazing song on the Follow the Reaper. Silent Night, Bodom Night sounds awesome and it is really easy to play (good for someone just learning COB). The first solo of that song after the verse sounds hard but actually isn't, and it doesn't require stretching so using three fingers is also easy for that.

Yeah, I actually don't think that part is that hard either, however I don't alternate pick every single note, I hammer-on and pull of on some. I think this part is the hardest in the song:

I did record that song with that speed with even a faster tempo in that verse and put it once in the song forum. But now I'm way better and I wanted to record but I couldn't cuz I'm having some guitar technical problems at the moment I need to try some Necrophagist since I never tried and listened to them. What is a good album of theirs.

I definately agree, Sinergy is really diff, cuz I think Roope just plays like power chords and stuff on the rhythm sections, but then like Alexi is like playing lead lines all over the rhythm, and I don't mean the solos. Check out like Venomous Vixens for example. |

When it comes to anything speed or alot of distortion, i am pretty well off. But i promise you, i dont care if you get the best guy on this forum, this is the one thing that remains and will remain hard for anyone who wants to attempt. Any Steve Vai song. I mean i think a lot of die hard shredders dont like him, but just try to learn a song that you listen to and say 'i am not even going to waste my time learning that, it sounds so easy'. guess again.
Steve Vai songs have more little things, odd timings, techinically hard, and touch than any other guitar pieces i have ever heard. I am doing Tender Surrender for this audition thing (I will be asking you all for an opinion on that in a month) and i swear, shit like that where nothing repeats, and you have to be aware of your dynamics at all times as well as the rhythm aspect. Thats the hardest shit out there. Its even harder to get that mature guitar playing sound Vai and other pros have obtained, but i feel when there is too much distortion, its way way too easy to copy the person, with all the compression, it lacks to much dynamic range.
So basically anything Steve Vai, i would challenge anyone to learn one of them and make it sound good. I am probably going to be embarassed to put up Tender Surrender.

It's some hardly to me to play in keys over than in E,A,B. Year ago I lessoned At The Gates "Into The Dead Sky" - it's in G#-minor!
Variable measures is not difficult to me, because of it i like progressive.
Some problems I have in fingers stretching, and I try to simplify composition in this cases.
