Doesnt sound like he is using any distortion in that song, the vox do sound a bit metallic though.

Possibly.
Burzum purposely recorded an album with a really shit microphone to get the vocals the way he wanted them. They could've done the same, or just had bad equiptment.

....Was it Gaahl on vocals then? If so, probaly nothing, he has the most fucked up voice, and he doesnt use distortion if I remember correctly. Anyways if you want to know, check there offical forums out through there website www.gorgoroth.org |

Gorgoroth is great band and they do not use whatever distortion, or any other special effects to the vocals.
I just know i couple good bands wich use it on the whole album, and some on just few times. I mean you can usually here that. Apperantly "the bleeding" don`t.
Black metal vocals are a special great thing, wich i am here to learn a little more of. I want to learn it real good, i am also a beginenr of guitar playing, and want to improve this too.

so noob, did you even listen to the song i was talking about? if you did, you'd realize that there is a part in it that is clearly electronic. And i didnt say it was a shitty band, i said they had shitty equipment, which they do... because only shitty equipment can give you a raw BM sound.

Yeah the shitty equipment I use, for grindcore, is nothing compared to there ungodlyness. Although doest Infernus use like a Flying V.
