as some of you may know, the new Vile album has been leaked. but that's not the point.
i have both Stench of Deceased and Depopulate, great albums but, just listen to this song from their new album:

is it just me or this sounds EXACTLY like Immolation?
i actually thought this was from a new Immolation demo or something.
so, am i just being paranoid or this resemblence is audible for anyone else?

i never really cared for them but i didnt give em much of a chance
the link you posted didnt work but im gonna try and find a sample of their new stuff and ill report back later about any immo similarities

I didn't like the new mp3; "The New Age of Chaos" or whatever it's called, but I like all of their other stuff.

yeah the first link did work it was just kind of slow. i checked out the self titled track too and enjoyed it, but i dont much hear a immo influence , other than guitar tone that sounds a little like unholy cult

Colin REALLY knows how to mix/master an album - the sound is huge. And you can actually hear the bass in a death metal CD, haha. Kinda weird how they re-recorded the promo track they released earlier on in the year.
Yeah, Jack recorded on the new CD. He'll be touring as long as it doesn't intefere with his Exodus schedule.
I have the album, and yeah- that track does sound like Immolation in ways. Maybe a few riffs here and there. But isn't that a good thing?

I havn`t reallly heard much of Vile, but the two songs I once heard where good. Didn`t hear any Immolation in it though.

I like Vile's style. Good brutal stuff. But I would not compare them to (the total unique) Immolation.

Vile kicks ass man.
Stench is they better work IMO, depopulate is a good album, and The new age of chaos i still have to get.
