Choosing the right neck pickup.

So after much debating I have decided to go with a passive setup for my guitar. For a bridge pickup I'm buying an X2N, but I'm not sure if the PAF pro is what I want. I've read some reviews at HC and the Evo Neck is a bit more convincing than the PAF Pro. I already searched the forums for more info on the pickups but I still have these questions:

1)Which as more output?

2)Which has more clarity/is less muddy and noisy?

3)In terms of tone, describe how they sound compared to each other. Like which has more mids, highs, bass, etc.

4)Which would sound better with the mother of all high-gain passives(X2N) in the bridge?

By having an X2N in the bridge it's quite obvious what I want to play, but I don't want the neck PU to make up for the X2N's lack of versatility. Smooth cleans with a little bit of "bite" is what I want(think Immortal-style cleans). I don't want any muddyness or feedback/noise/squeakyness at all. Btw: what exactly is "good" feedback?

In general, the neck PU will be for soloing, but when in 2-humbucker mode I want to get a real middy and bassy(but very clear) sound from it. But I also want that brightness for 80's-metal leads. To name a few tones I'm after:

Amon Amarth - Versus the World Album
Immortal - Any of their last 3 albums.
Megadeth-ish stuff with a bit more aggressiveness.
Suffocation - "Effigy of the Forgotten"-style tone.
Decapitated - Anything(yes I know they use EMG's, but as you can see I'm looking for something that can cover a whole lot of ground).
Some power/speed metal stuff like Blind Guardian and Helloween.
Arsis' tone.
Something crisp and in-your-face.

But what I'm mainly interested is getting a very quiet and clear neck PU.

So which choice would be best for me? The PAF Pro or the Evo neck? I would greatly appreciate any help, especially if you've tried both PU's in the neck. Thanks.

Adding on to your questions of neck pickups, whats a good single coil neck pup? I would be using the necks mainly for sweaos, cleans, and solos.

Don't hijack my thread, bitch. :P I hear that the Seymour Duncan Cool Rails and Hot Rails are good single coils. The Cool Rails pup is quieter, and Abbath from Immortal has one in his RR along with an EMG-81 and some other single-coil.
