Crust is just pretty much hardcore punk with metal riffs and alot faster and yeah cb are sick and so is phobia there really nice guys.Ive been into wolfpack and world burns to death lataly oh and i cant forget code 13

CB may be one of the best sloppy bands EVER. Classic. I love crust, and to me it doesn't need to be fast, more dirty and garbage quality (hence the "crust" or outskirts of punk/metal). Dystopia is one of the best examples. Phobia and Disrupt are also great examples for faster crust.

you might like some misery or extinction of mankind its really slow but its kinda good but gets annoying after awhile another good slow crustish band is EYEHATEGOD I enjoy them but vox get annoying as well |

Both genres are played at breakneck speed, adrenaline pumping, and have variations of high/low vocals. Regular grind seems to be less punky with abit more guitar work put in.
It was a fucking great show. Although, J.R. didn't have distortion on his voice.

EHG is total sludge/doom wouldn't consider them crust at all + the vocals are one of the reasons why they kick so much ass. Look into "Outlaw Order," it's Mike Williams' other band and it's more on the hardcore punk side. |
