NOOO Not this pedal! I liked it to actually except for one thing. It didn't have a gain knob and that just ruined the whole pedal imo.

I didn't get a lot of feedback but I think that was because I use EMG and they are quite anyway. I did hate that HISS that came from it but my ISP pedal killed that. I got a cheap deal on it from a pawn shop and ended up selling it for more on Ebay.
If it only had a gain knob I would have liked that pedal far more. It made it impossible to boost your amps distortion channel. I could only use it on the purely clean channel of my amp and it still had to much gain. I had to turn the volume on my guitars down a bit to help control it.

Ed, just sell it. You can easily trick some idiot into buy it, just like I did with Kristen. You'd be much better with either getting the Silver Dragon, or a good tube amp. And speaking of that, save you money when you get it. You need better equipment. And your dad buying you that SG pisses me off.

I come to the conclusion Digitech sucks
In my opinion , and I have had a boatload of Digitech , Boss ,MXR ,Dunlop etc
I think digitech sucks , Theyre noisey and the tone just blows. I admit I used to dig the X series stuff but lately Im swapping them off my board for MXR and Boss and Dunlop,
Is it me ,even the artist signature pedals i think blow,
Is it me , agree disagree ?

yeah... digitechs have a loud hiss sound... i have to turn the level way down and turn the volume on my amp way up to minimize it. i have the metal master..... its pretty good for pinched harmonics. they ring out really well with that pedal, but the tones not all that great. id prefer a good amp distortion much better.

disagree, the whammy hardly blows and isnt a little bit noisy. The use the x-series delay and they are nothing to complain about.

+1 the whammy is legendary.
for fx, i'd say the x series is average.
but digitech definately has their share of crap.

I Use a Digitech RP14 multi Unit.
I consider it to be the best sounding Floor Multi unit Digitech make. (is Tube Based btw)
