i think u should look if the neck is adjusted right, if thats oke, dont touch it (duh).
do u have a tremolo of not??
if u have a trem, u could adjust the springs in the back to lower/higher the bar, but this should be centered most of the time (the bar should be paralell to the body in most cases), or try to raise/lower the bar by screwing in or out the screws that attach the bar to the body.
