I wasnt sure where to put this so I put it here.

Im having trouble doing unison bends (bending one note to make it sound like another). I've been playinjg Iron Maiden for awhile, but I went to go play Run to the Hills, and the intro is the same 6 unison bends over and over again, and no matter how many times I play it I cant get it to sound like it is supposed to, so any help on technieque on how to play them would be much appreciated.

what kind of bridge do you have? With my floyd-knock off, whole step or greater bends generally pull the bridge down, making the whole guitar flat during the bend. In that case you need to bend the higher note too a little bit to level out the pitch. Also, you're probably doing this, but use you're first finger to hold down the root note and bend the other string with you're third, by the way, I'm imagining you're doing something like this:

----- b15-----

Practice bending notes up to the next half, whole, and whole and a half note all over the neck. Do that until you think you're satisfied. Hope that helps.

The tension on your strings might be just to much and your strong strong enough to bend it. I know its teh case with my guitar. The strings have such a tension i cant get anything past a whole step.
