..please help me out on a few levels by predicting what I can expect from the following 2 pickups in terms of tone and output:

N1 : 8.85 K impedance, 4.68 H inductance, AWG 42 coil gauge, 5400 turns
B1 : 10.30 K impedance, 4.33H inductance, AWG 44 coil gauge, 6600 turns

Both have a ferrite magnet.

(I'm aware this is an unusual question, but it would be show me a few things..)

The tone that comes from them also depends on how the wire is coiled around the core

To me it looks like the B1 will have a higher output because of it haveing more of a field flux for the string to vibrate in due to the added turns, but it will have a duller or darker sounding attack compared to the other due to the impedance difference.

I'd have thought the output would be about even, cause although B1 has more turns, it also has a greater impedence, by about 1.5k, so i'd say that it'd kinda cancel out...

... although you are the military electronics specialist, and i just took it for A Level and got a D

What about each of these pickups compared to a pretty standard rock/metal pickup like a JB or Gibson LP standard Alnico humbuckers?

Would I be correct to say that a Ferrite magnet produces a brighter tone than a ceramic magnet?
