Need advice on what to keep/sell
Okay here's the deal. I just bought a Mesa Mark IV head and am waiting on a Mesa Rectifier 2X12 speaker cab w/ vintage 30s. I also have a Line 6 Flextone III XL with the footboard. What I need to decide is should I sell the Flextone/footboard and get a Boss GT-8 (I'm definitely not a dry player) or just use both amps, switching when a certain sound is desired. Let me add that I am expecting to get $450 +150 for the amp/footboard at least (they are both mint). So that is why I am thinking Boss GT-8. Or is there a cheaper and just as viable alternative to the GT-8 since amp modeling is not a priority, but to where I can get chorus, delay, wah, volume, noise gate, compression?

Get a G Major
Ive heard good things about the boss , But for about $399 you can get a Gmajor processor. The Gmajor is awsum it has a 100 factory settings and you can program 100 user settings. Its a nice piece of gear ,Very good chorus , phase shifter , delays noise gate ,etc , fairly easy to operate.
good luck

i'd suggest finding an old rocktron replifex. and a midi controller.
the g major is good. but i'm not down with the tone sucking.

You could grab a Boss GT-6 on ebay for $240 shipped.
I had one before and loved it, its very versatile, but I sold mine to get my 5150 combo. Ill be buying another one soon for those late night practices since ill just headphone it.
