Does anyone know where to get a good set of minis?? besides seymour duncan...i dont like theirs...im not looking for an all-out balls to the wall set...think mellow...jazzy...

get the vintage rails or the cool rails from seymour duncan. i have hotrails in my bridge and it has balls but if you put them in the neck you can get quite nice cleans(found that out on my bud's fender iron maiden strat)

Believe it or not, the EMG-60 is a mini humbucker active pickup that's housed in a full size frame. I have one of these in the neck of my Epi Les Paul and the cleans are excellent. I can record a clip if you're interested.

thank you...but I need minis...I dont want to do any routing or anything to make a 60 fit...

but if you have a clip...i wouldnt mind it...

Here are a couple of clips I recorded. One is without effects (although listening to it the reverb sounds like delay for some reason), second is with sweep echo and chorus. I used the emg60 on both.
