B.C. Rich questions

OK I found out that the Kerry King model now has a Kahler!!!!!!!!
I just thought it was sweet that Kahler and B.C. Rich has now signed together thanks to Kerry King.

OK now to he questions

Were is the Ironbird on their site? Don't tell me they have taken it off the market.

When are they going to update their site? You can't even click on a guitar to make it larger.

You can still purchase b.c. rich ironbirds through music123 and guitarasylum, as well as a myriad of other sites on the internet. Sad thing is, quality B.C. rich manufacturing is being replaced by mass production as to make more money. Idiot kids think "hey this guitar looks cool, I want it" and end up buying it based on looks, not playability. Be careful with newer B.C riches. I own an N.J. neck-thru mockingbird with stock humbuckers and while it played beautifully, the input was a bitch to fix, and it still buzzes, making me opt for my other axes.

Good luck man.

Be realy carefull what you buy. There are cheap ripoffs that look have the same body style and probly play better than most of B.C. Riches models.

Are you talking about Rans? I'm guessing there on par with most of the higher end bcr stuff...

The USA KKV had an option of kahler for ages itl be easier for them to make it now though seeing as kaher are making more of them..

So I can't really go to a music store and be like hey I want a B.C. Rich Ironbird ordered for me? Or is that possible? Perhaps when B.C. Rich updates their site they could have it one there.

Of course you can say that, but they'll assume you mean a CS ironbird. The peole over at BC Rich said that they have no intention of releasing a brand new ironbird for the '05 lineup. Mainly because it doesn't sell as well as other models.
You might be able to get yourself a following over at the BC Rich forums though. If you get enough people complaining about this, you might be able to get the mods on that forum to pass word along to the company reps. How do you think they brought back the Eagle?

i like some ofthe Bc riches, but its really personal preference... i wouldnt order a BC Rich if i were in your possition, there too unreliable... wait for them to restock or get a different guitar...

but if your heart is set on an Iron bird, look at other stores or get a custom Ran Ironbird

I was looking for an Ironbird for sometime but I ended up buying Jackson. BC Rich Ironbirds are no longer in production, and you can't find them in any online stores except for people who sell used stuff. Music123 was one of the stores I tried, all they sell is a case. Tried froogle, no luck but ebay. I was about to buy a new/used one on Ebay for like $300 with a case, but I didn't like the payment options so I didn't go for it.

They're supposed to be neck heavy but you can always relocate the strap button. As you would expect, the stock PU's suck ass, but can also be replaced. If you can find one for cheap used I reccomend getting it since they're hard to find, but by no means will it be a great guitar unless you mod it up a bit.

Edit: Hey look what I found: http://www.gear1music.com/bcricplatire1.html

$300. Don't like the looks of the site though... I might buy it if I have the cash(or if suddenly decide to return my Jackson).

LOL. I sorta wanted a Tremelo with it. Fuck it. It's not overly important.

This little guitar store I am going to work at the owner works for Jackson custom shop and he know people in B.C. Rich custom shop. But those are really expensive, 5000 and up for B.C Rich Custom and 3000 and up for Jackson Custom. LOL I always wanted a 7-string Ironbird. But it's not overly
LOL the owner also builds his own guitars so if he ever asks if I want a custom guitar I am going to show him Jason Kockal (Impaled) "F.U. Frankengrind". With the hands and say "Yeah, something crazy like that." LOL I mean it's so ugly that it's actually sorta cool.

It doesn't sell as well...this disgusts me. All B.C. rich cares about now is money. I wish the orignal crew was still making these once wonderful instruments. Sure, some of the new models are alright...but the name B.C. Rich is going to hell.

I got an old B.C. Rich NJ Warlock that plays beautifully. I like the feel of it. Pluis I got Kerry King EMG pick ups. LOL I know alot of people don't like B.C. Rich but I don't see anything wrong with them.

I have to agree with Brainsforbreakfast.....BC Riches are really hit and miss...i know i have an older NJ Warlock...it's incredible...all i needed was new pickups...(eewwww BC Rich pickups) and since the newer ones were made i had a couple of friends who have bought the newer NJ Warlocks....one isn't half bad, but the other was worse than fire wood....and i hear so many things about this all the time....so in short...unless you get the chance to play it before buying it...don't bother....it's not worth spending that kind of money to "HOPE" you get a good one...When BC Rich doesn't fuck up the guitar, their great....otherwise...*flushes toilet* good bye money...tho i still enjoy GOOD BC Rich guitars...and will defend them to the end...i am willing to admit, their flaws (no matter how many there are)...but i think every guitar company has some type of draw back

I think that guitar is absolutely hiddeous. It looks stupid.
I can't believe they actually let those things go into production.
However, to each his own, if you like it buy it.
I have a Bronze Warlock, cost me about $180. For the money, I didn't really expect much. My expectations were met.
It's an okay guitar, doesn't have any major flaws, but doesn't really shine in any department. My LTD Explorer has such a nicer feel to it, it can't even be measured. The Warlock's neck actually makes my hand hurt sometimes. Plus the nut is a bit chunk of sharpened plastic, which hits me in the fingers every time I do a slide in the direction of the first fret. Also, I had to get the input fixed, and it's still not perfect.
Oh, who am I kidding? It's a piece of crap with six strings and two pickups attached to it. Serves its purpose as my backup guitar in case anything happens to my LTD or I want to try a different tuning. However, I probably could've gotten an Ibanez for the same money that would outperform it.
