Tremolo questions

I have a friend that tells me that even though you have a double locking tremolo it will go out of tune if you play with it like slayer does.

Is this true ?

A tremolo will at some point go out of tune due to the very nature of what they are. If the tremolo is rubbish, it will go out quicker than a quality one will. However if you set it up perfectly, and break the strings in, it should stay in tune for a good amount of time

And that is why Slayer uses Kahler bridges They are not as easily knocked out of tune.

I don't know why you would want to play it like slayer does. Try actually playing the guitar, it's more fun
