I want to go CD shopping for some native German metal bands...so what are some great ones? Preferably power, prog, death, or black. I want a German name with German lyrics.

They are a punk band. I have the Love, Peace and Money album(which is English versions of their songs) and I have another but the name evades me right now.
Try Prolopower, don't know much about them apart from they did a version of Scorpions 'Steamrock Fever' in German!
