Power amp

I pretty much got a free power amp today a peavey M-2600 but I really dont know what I could do with it.Im thinking just use it to run a pa or somthing does anyone have any info or any ideas for me to use this for? I was told hey why not build a rack but i think 600 watts is pushing it and I also have no experience using one well thanks for any help.

Awesome what model?Why not get a preamp,or sell it.

im thinking about getting a preamp any recomendations? I was looking at some engl pre amps that looked nice, at this point money isnet really a problom since I just got a new good paying job and need to get better equipment since my bands playing bigger shows.

I have an engl e530 and im happy with it.They arent very expensive either.Anyway another couple to look at are Mesa triaxis and the Marshall JMP1.Both have MIDI and are versatile for whatever music you play.Try some out and see what you like.Check out rocktron and VHT too.Search them in google or something.

Alright I will look around and compare things to what I know im pretty sure its ss since i just got it last night I havent had alot of time to look things up.Thanks agian
