i was looking on gak.co.uk for heads and i came accross the Peavey Supreme XL.
its going for £299 which is reasonable for me. but the thing is...i dont know much about amps

neways, is this a good deal? will i be able to get a good tone out of it? is it a good amp?

is there any other heads in the same price region which is better (other than ebay stuff)?

and one last thing, is the marshall avt-412a a good cab? as you can see im on a budget and am looking for cheap yet good quality goods

Eh, i own this amp. My first head.

Is it good? Yea, decent i suppose.
Great? No.
Do i love it? No.
Do i EVER use it, now that i have a Blue Voodoo and a Marshall 8100? Hell no.

Trust me, you can get better.

A combo amp might be better if you're in that price range. Check out Tech21's Trademark 60... I shit you not, they're great.
