Question regarding Peavy 5051/6505 series
I'm looking to buy a real amp in the future, and i'm eyeing this amp as an attractive option. I have 2 questions tough: Does this amp have an FX loop? (I think thats likely) and is it MIDI switachble? (me thinks un-likely, but ohwell)

JerryP makes a cable that can be used to MIDI switch it. BLS will be by soon to school me with his superior knowledge. |

I don't think they've got midi options stock..
they're terribly overpriced over here though

pff yeah, I just noticed. And nobody sells them second hand.
Seems like an ENGL powerball will be just as expensive as getting a 6505+ new.. guess i'll do that

nah, the powerball is a bit more... you might be able to find a used 5150 though... they go for about 800.

Thing is, the Dutch used market sucks. Ebay: nothing. Marktplaats.nl: nothing. Gitaarmarkt.nl: only the combo.
Well, it'll still be a while before i have the cash tough...

you have to keep your eyes on gitaarmarkt... marktplaats has some stuff too every now and then. Might take a while but it's usually worth the wait.
ebay.nl sucks but the german ebay.de is great.

This is like the exact position I'm in. I'm looking at either a 5150, Powerball, Blackmore, Fireball, Laney VH100R, or a GH100L. I'm eyeing the 5150 because of it's low prices on ebay, but the fucking Powerball seems sweet.

Thanks for oyur replies. Well, i've checked musik-produktiv.. yeah, the powerball is more expensive.. but only 200 euros more than the 6505+ 
If I can get my hand on 1.300 euros.. I can handle a little bit more methinks 
Well, time for saving up annyhow
Oh and def, they didn't have any 5150/6505's on ebay.de either
