I've got the jackson one, I really like it. The shape is pretty damn cool and it sounds pretty ok. Might want to swap the pickups sometime in the future thoug... I loooooooove the neck, it's very very awsome! The floyd is kind of crap thoug, I've broken mine twice but it still works very well. the quialty of the volume knob ain't that good either. But I still love that guitar inspite of all that
never tried that ibanez, but it looks pretty all right.

I have jacksong rr3, which is pretty similiare to rx10d. I really like it, jackson has the smoothest guitar necks i ever played. As mentioned before, you might want to swap the pick ups though, but they arn`t terrible, especially for the price.

The Ibanez is good although I would go with the jackson. You might wanna switch pickups though.

Jackson.
The rhoads-shape is quite nice to play. Think of replacing the pu's and you should have a good axe.

ibanez
because altho that jackson looks like its got the full works, its pretty shit and the quality is poor comparred to the ibanez. i've played that guitar, it seemed ok, but it wasnt as good as the ibanez. plus the ibanez has a better neck, 24 frets and a better pickup combination...o ya it looks better (imo)
as for pickups...they both suck in that department, which ever one you get, swap them out.

Up yours, K13 and User01! I have that jackson and it's the absolutel ****. I like it better than my old PRS Standard 22.
Just swap the pickups and maybe the bridge and you're set!
EDIT: although i HATE HATE HATE HATE the JS30RR rhoads. That one is freakin' terrible.
So maybe the RX10D is more mid level.

If it were up to me I would go for the Ibanez. About how much could you pick up that model for 2nd hand??
Those inlays look sweet.

im totaly not saying that the particular jackson mopdel sucks, i just know from my experience that lowe end ibanez guitars are better than lowend jackson guitars, that doesnt make em bad guitars, thats just my opinioun based on my experience, i mean if ur happy with the guitar, then there no problem, i use to have a jackson xt series, the neck wasnt set on right, i still liked it.
its all personal preference.
To the guy that made the thread, see if theres a store where u can actualy play these guitars and tell from ur own experience wichone u like best.

most guitar places that are pivate owned won't have the new high end guitars, they mostly buy squires and other low end guitars. but i managed to get a carvin neck through with dual humbuclers. if you wanted to test it you could just read the reviews on it.
I know its a little late but i think Ibanez are to flashly, not to mention most of them look the same.

Just go get a Carvin off of ebay. You can get one mint, and save like alot of money, and get a guitar that makes you just as or more happy.

I just received a catalog from Carvin in the mail (I must have wound up on their mailing list somehow). Anyway, it looks pretty impressive. Are they as good playing and sounding as they come across in their literature?
