Right, i can do a DM growl ok, but im trying to get my black vox, like Immortal and Emperor, sorted. I have a question, how loud are BM vocals usually? My death vox are a bit quiter than my normal voice, but my black attempts so far have been really quiet in comparison.

depends. usually they are pretty quiet. death metal vocals usually require the voice to be loud, where as good black metal vox usually seem to be pretty quiet. youre not alone in that. they are hradly ever above talking level unless youre doing screeching.
