When i switch the reverb on my Laney VH100R with the footswitch, it makes a really loud high pitched screeching (after the amp has warmed up for 20mins or so, it works fine prior to that). I don't know what the problem is with it, any suggestions from you chaps?

EDIT: its a spring reverb by the way

i dont really know how it works but i know if you have everything (distortion,volume and reverb) full blast at the same time, it will do that. try turning it down a bit.

Lol, i haven't been able to turn my amp up past 3 yet Gain is only at about 6, and it does it on both the clean and dirty channels

EDIT: WAIT!!! do you have grounded plugs? if your usuing an extention cord then its because it isnt grounded. it does the same thing here exept when i use my Californian Strat... i dont exactly know why either
