hand troubles
hey, my picking hand is quite fast (sixteenth notes at 260bpm/270bpm-ish) but my fretinmg hand is slower (eighth notes at 200bpm )... do you know and exercises that would build speed in my fretting hand?
i know it sounds like a stupid question but, do you have any responces besides "all of them you noob!" ?

damn i have that too, my picking hand cant keep up with my fretting hand, and reversed.
maybe practicing with a metronome, so u build up speed for both hands at the same tempo, so they get BOTH used to it????
just a suggestion

you could try finger weights and build up speed w/ that.

My picking hand is faster than my fretting hand too....I hate it how when I play a riff really fast, my fretting hand can stay fairly in sync with with my picking, but when it lags a little it starts sounding all choppy when I play something really fast.

i think metronomes are the best way to go with this. i know that my fretting hand cant keep up with my picking.one thing you can do is just the simple old method of starting out slow and building your way up, and when you mess up even once you just start up again. that drives me crazy sometimes lol

Buckle down on that metronome and keep raising the tempo slowly. You'll see a lot of improvement.
