EMG PA2

hokay... i just bought a new guitar that has the emg PA2 booster switch in it.

anybody know how to increase the gain? The switch right now barely adds 5dB and the emg website says something along the lines of "you can increase the gain to 20dB" but it doesnt tell you how... stupid pricks...

anybody know?

I have a emg booster. I just need to pull it and turn the knob and it boosts

It has an adjustable trim pot. You need tp take the back cover off, look for a small little circuit card (lol) you should see a slider or knob or something....just slide it up till you get the amount of gain you want.

i opened it up, saw the circuit board... looked at it. no switches or sliders or knobs. one one side its all chips.. and the other side is this big square blue thing. So i poked at the blue thing for like 10 minutes... it doesnt slide and it doesnt turn... and yeah. I'm pretty sure that thing is the key... but i dont know what it does. HELP

righto, on the back of the pa2 unit there should be a blue square or something like that, theres also a white circle with a slot across the middle of it.
turn that circle clockwise to boost gain or reverse to minimise gain. simple
btw, you kan keep turning that white screw or knob or whatever as much as you like, it the gain will still stay at 20db. either way, its probably maxed out as it is.
