Anyone here ever play one? I played a reverbrocket 50watts last night and id have to say the cab was extremely dark, and surprisingly the distortion was rather old school, i could get some good old school DM tones out of it, for example i had no trouble getting out some older Death/Autopsy/Morgoth tones and even got a tone similar to Gorguts - Erosion of Sanity.

I was wondering if there are any problems associated with Orange amps and what not? I realize you guys will tell me to Harmony central.com it and i will, but i want to know what you guys have heard about these amps.

for metal from an orange head, the rockerverb is your only choice... unless you use a boost pedal.

the cabs are very crisp and woody in their nature. the thick ply(i think it's like 18) and the vintage 30's make for a dark and smooth sound. not to much highs, but a healthy amount of lows and a sweet midrange.

i think orange is also offering black tolex now so the metalheads can sport their rockerverbs and not looky like sissy mars volta wannabe's.

Screw that black tolex, i will use Orange but sorry i didnt use the search i just totally forgot about, I like those cabs alot really cool stuff.
