Guitar project?
I'm thinking of getting guitar parts and putting them
together to make a guitar.Maybe then sell it.
Do you think it's a good idea?Would it be too hard to do?
Do you know of any good online shops
for cheap parts(except ebay of course)?

It won't be easy, but it's worth a shot. Make sure you know something about construction and luthering and whatnot before you start throwing away money. Try www.chrisguitars.com for parts.

Thanks for the feedback and the stores.
I'm thinking of buying a body,a neck and all the stuff needed
and then put them together.
It would be an electric guitar.
I checked the sites, they aren't expensive but still ebay
has cheaper stuff(I found some cheap pickups though)

you will find everything you need to know here
www.guitarproject.com
and theres a forum full of people who will help you.
the only thing i would say is that buying the parts and putting them together is one thing, but to sell it is another. it is bloody hard to make a guitar worth selling, and i wouldn't want to buy the first one anyone made, or one that someone just bought the neck/body and stuck it together.
you should make it for yourself. im in the middle of making one, and you learn a hell of a lot about guitars.
what cheap pickups did you find?

I'm thinking of making it for myself, but I'll be making the guitar
with a friend who wants to sell it,we'll see.
I don't think it would be very hard to sell it,it would probably
be cheap.People here don't know much about guitars anyway,
if I told them I bought it whole and that I didn't make
it they'd believe it(unless I make it really sucky).
I have thought of many tricks I could
pull on a buyer(not that I will do it,it just ain't right).

I think there was a Dimarzio X2N for 30-35 $ and some other
cheap ones.
About Warmoth I checked it,it has great stuff but
they're expensive.I'll try that if I have enough
money(and experience) someday.
