Dying Fetus and Misery Index
The Mansion Of Metal proudly presents the worlds first look at Covenance, a Death Metal band featuring ex-members of Dying Fetus and Misery Index.
Bruce Grieg, Matt Byers and Vince Matthews, ex-members of Misery Index and Dying Fetus have come together to create another amazing death metal band.
Our Mansion correspondant Ow3n talks to Bruce Greig, Covenance's guitarist about recording, bandmates and life in general.
"Well, with Vince singing there will initially be some comparisons between us and DF, just like when Jason first left DF and formed Misery Index. But if you look at Misery Index nowadays, that band TOTALLY has their own identity because they kicked ass from day one and released a great debut CD that absolutely did NOT sound like DF.... I think that Covenance can do the same thing, and the demo is a good start. Once we release our first album, people will definitely see that there is very little similarity between Covenance and DF."
