Double Truss rod?

my dad was telling me about this old Yamaha gutar with two truss rods in it so it could be thin an still strong for down tuning/breaking... have any of you seen one or seen something like it?

and third my opinion, ive never heard of anything have 2 truss rods, there are double action truss rods, but its all one piece.

yeah, heard about it, double truss rod's can be found on some six string yamaha basses too. haven't seen them much!
