Tonality tool

I have been try to better my powertabs and make them look more professional. I just found this tonality tool, and I know how and why it works and everything. But my question is: When do you people around here use it? Do Suffocation, Necrophagist, Cryptopsy etc. (all the top end tabs we have here) write songs using key signatures? If anyone knows any specific bands who do/don't, that would help me a great deal, and probably others here too

eh? a key signature is just for lazy song writers. i doubt it comes into play with our type of music. if youre going to be in D major there are five flats so instead of writing a flat every time you hit a B E A D or G you just put the five flats at the beginning of the piece and the note is carried on. you might however see it in a solo

consult the Circle of Fifths if you dont know how to find key signatures
