For the price (free shipping and all) that seems like one hell of a deal. They look pretty badass. Great guitars. Not sure about 80's releases and whatnot. But what the hell, buy one of 'em. I'd say the black. That's my vote. Buy it while you can.

First off, NO those aren't as good as the original USA 80's versions.. these ar emade in Korea. I still say its a decent deal. And unless you get the Les Paul mount Kahler then you WILL need to route a cavity for the Kahler.

I'm not too helpful with specifics. I can recommend the humbucker-style pickup I replaced my single-coils with on my Fender Telecaster -- it's by Dimarzio. But I can't remember what model. Not to mention, I doubt it would suit those particular guitars. Anywho, I went to my local dealer and had him look up pickups he could order and it was the best deal. Anyway, the ones in the pics should be fine (although, again, I don't know much about that stuff). Why replace them? You don't have to order every single part specifically do you? I thought it would be just a choice between colors.
Don't know about any of that other stuff, though. Good luck.

Megadeth and Maiden use the Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge..
Slayer and Zakk both use the EMG 81 in the bridge..
