marshall 8008 HOWMUCH???
k im trying to sell my marshall valvestate 8008 2 x 80 watt poweramp
some guy mailed me for the price, i say sumwhere near 250 euros, wich is what i payd for it 4 months ago, then he says its not even worth half :confuse:
some response on this, howmuch should i ask, cuz i dont know
the thing is in perfect condition btw

I don't really know, but it'd definately be more than what he says... i reckon you should stick to your 250 and try and find someone else

well one for 125 on marktplaats, i guess the guy just missed that one and is now trying to rip me of 
i looked for a new price and stuff but couldnt find anything either, the guy i got it from sayd it was round 500 new???? but im totaly not sure

they don't seem to sell it anywhere, and whats even odder, I can't find anything about it on the marshall site, not even in the archives (and they prolly have all their products from waaaaay back on there)

it's a sellers market. you have an item he doesnt.
sell it for whatever you feel is fair. if he can find one that's half as much as you're asking. then he should buy it. but until then you have one for your price that he can either accept or decline.
it never hurts to browse classifieds or ebay type places to compare your price.
i get alot of lowball offers. people will test your knowledge of the used gear market. occasionally you can find a sucker or two to give something up for less than it's worth. i try all the time

fuck him, just another cheap-ass dutchman, theres loads of these wankers strolling around on marktplaats, I often reply to their mails with 'good luck finding one for that price, because mine ain't going nowhere for that price.'

200-250 euro's should be fine.
man, every single piece of gear that I bought and sold made me a profit, I never lost any money, thats the way to go. theres allways people searching for it and willing to go all the way
