can you take a picture of the room so we can see how it looks? it would be easer for us to help you set it up if we knew what there is to work with. or did i misunderstand the question?

generally, you want your instrument/speaker/line leads to stay away from your power leads, so i'd recommend laying it all out so you can keep noise to a minimum

would be nice to have scale posters and chord posters on the wall incase you get stuck, and posters of your fave bands for inspiration.
wall mounted guitar hangers, and a window to blast your music out of (whether its cds or guitar!)

if it's a fairly large room.. i like to set up one side as if it were a stage. drums in the middle but back against the wall, with the amps off to the sides slighty behind the drums... then PA is usually pretty random.
if it's a small room... i like the separated into corners approach.
some tit posters, a thrift store couch, maybe even a little mini fridge... you'll be set to go.

Put up sound-insulating foam, or if you are cheap, egg cartons and carpet. Uhh..couches would be cool. Maybe a fridge.

Keep the PC there!!! Get a recording module type thing, hook it up to the amp and the computer so you can record all your stuff AND tab it out etc.
