TIME FOR SOME DEICIDE
So yesterday I found out that Deicide is going to be here in Prince George, B.C. along with 5 other bands. I thought "Hey, I should buy some tickets...$30 oh well, its worth it." Then to my dismay I realized it was going to be at a bar and as I am not of legal age would not be able to attend...But then they realesed the fact that it is an all ages concert....being held in the bar. I got meself some tickets now. I hope its a kickass show, they are able to cram 800 hundred people into the bar so I'm betting someone gets crushed. Has anyone ever seen Deicide in concert...??

every single fucking vocal section is double tracked by Glen... i think thats fucking stupid. Theres no possible way to pull it off live, so he goes back and forth.

Actually he triple tracks the vocals.. one high pitched scream, one normal scream, and one growl.
He just grows live though.. atleast when I saw them

hooly shit do they suck. youre in for a big dissapointment man, glen came out and was very abusive and loud nad cranky. it took them 40 minutes to come out onstage, on a weeknight no less. all their stuff was all set up, they were probably just doing coke in the back room. besides, its not even deicide anymore. it should be called "glen benton and friends play deicide"

jack was good but being the tone hound you are, didnt you notice something? that guitar sound was atrocious. completely unheavy.it was like a weak version of epitaphs rhythm tone!
and the guy from vital rules, yes, but its not "deicide" anymore

I didnt get to see Deicide with Jack.
Glen said he is basically merging Deicide and Vital Remains.. but I'm he will keep the Deicide name because of it popularity.

They should just drop Deicide, as lets face it - Glen didnt do any of the work and Vital Remains is is somewhat good.

Deicide ruled. The only problem they had was that they were under the mistaken impression that people wanted to hear crap off of the first two warm-up albums in concert. They almost intentionally don't play their best songs like "Blame it on God" and "When Satan Rules His World" at live shows and that pisses me off, but they were far better in the long run than Vital Remains IMO so I am highly skeptical of this new lineup.
