Wiring a 1x12......
Probably the stupidest question asked ever, but does anyone got any sites for wiring a 1x12? I can't find much.
I found a pic (attachment), but its not very detailed. If someone could explain it to me, that would be great.
And, is there a tonal difference to wiring parallel and series? I thought 1x12's aren't run on parallel or series? I'm confused from all these sites I've been to....

Parallel and series configurations are for multiple speakers. When you have multiple speakers it is important that they are in phase with each other, meaning that the + and - terminals are all the same polarity with respect to your amplifier's output. You can intentionally put speakers out of phase for experimental tone manipulation if you want though.
Since you only have one speakers it does not matter which way you wire it. The two wires coming out of the amp connect to the two terminals on the speaker.

How do I tell which terminal on the speaker wires to input jack solder tabs(attachment)? Or does it not matter?
I'm gonna use this cab with a 5150 head (cheap I know) which has 2 speaker jacks. Do I need to make 2 jacks on the cab or not?

i think when you do that you hook the head up to both cabs? im not sure but the back of my tsl has three output jacks in the back
........./cab

Only one jack. You need to look at the speaker and see how many ohms it is and hook it up to the appropriate jack. The best way to verify which connector tabs are + or - is with an ohm meter, but as said before, does not matter with one speaker. Just make sure your speaker cable is wired straight thru. If the + and - are flipped on that cable then the exposed metal on the jack plugged into your speaker cabinet will have live AC voltage on it and a 5150 can supply some serious power.
If you are going to be doing this kind of stuff yourself you really need to invest in a cheap multimeter for checking continuity, measuring resistance, and checking for dangerous voltages and floating ground issues.
