SHIT i need a preamp QUICK!!!
i just sold my old preamp, and i already found a other preamp i wanted to buy, a peavey rockmaster for 175 euro, thing is, i just got a mail that the guy just sold it to somone that needid it rightaway the bastard, so now im ampless 
any dutchy here thatmmight know a good preamp???
some friend that wants to sell one or maybe anyone has seen a advertisement or sumtin.
dont start bout ebay cuz im not gonna buy sumtin thats not im holland.
i have bout 400 -500 max to spend (maybe just maybe i can lend some more if nesasary)
maybe il go check that e530 out, but i wanna look for some other stuff first

ill check ebay.de for some engl, I DO LIKE EM, just not at that time, maybe it was cuz the pu i had, i have some emg's now wich make a lot of difference already so

so do you actually KNOW what you want? those rockmasters are pretty wank IMO.
I've bought my first pre-amp through ebay.de too, I've bought about 4 things from Germans, never had any problems.

the guy was gonna come over here so i oculd try the rockmaster but then he sold it already, anyway, im gonna try to get a engl of ebay.de
e530 for 150 and below that howmuch im getting for my old marshall 9001 so

peavey rockmasteres arent that great anyways. 
try to find a cheap engl like the 620... heard they're mad cheap in europe. like 100-300 euros...
hell they're pretty cheap here in the states.

Here in Belgium I know a secondhand Yamaha DG 1000 for 170 neuro's. Greg Howe plays one of those, though. |

yeah true, im starting to think to sell all my crap and find something else, i dont feel lik espending a shit load of money into a nice rig wich will sound the way i want, cuz its gonna be some top or stuff, and it never sounds good unless its loud, and since my room is small and the hous i live in is some concrety crap, i mean, i can almost hear my neighbours fart, so

4vs2 tubes... meh.. it just means that each channel has it's own. where as the 530 shares them.
both are going to be limiting with a shared eqs. but you get that engl tone non the less.
