Arguably the most brutal band (and therefore, possibly too brutal) is Mortician. "The heaviest band on earth" is their fans' claim. Some people think their too simple. But no doubt about it, they're fuckin' brutal.
Other great death bands like Cryptopsy may be considered quite brutal, yet are recognized for technicality more than anything.
You might consider some grindcore. They usually take it over the edge. One grindcore band that is pretty extreme is Pig Destroyer.
Then, there's what I like to call "ultra brutal". I wouldn't recommend this, as usually it's just too heavy. But if you insist, check out Rod Stewart. Just don't say I didn't warn you. Fuckin' BR00TAL!!!!11111
