Well, I'm nice enough to tell you that it lists for around $225 American, and I'm also nice enough to tell you that www.musiciansfriend.com is probably about the cheapest place you'll find it, but I'm WAY too god damn lazy to go there and look at the price myself.

Happy Hunting.

I'm not being fucked at all, I'm not buying that god damn thing.

Guitar World's review of it said the regular list would probably be around $225, and I don't research things I'm not going to buy, so I just said what I'd remembered reading.

Morley makes a better Wah the Dunlop does. Why pay more just because it says "Dime Bag" on it?

I don't think he's overrated in the least. And why not have a bunch of signature shit? Christ, look at the fucking sports industry...there are probably shoes with peoples' names on them that have never even worn a fucking pair of them.

If people are dumb enough to buy it, then by all means, have all kinds of shit.

I'm gonna come up with a signature series Robert Heil Baseball Bat, but it's wooden with a steel rod down the center, and it says FUCK YOU! in big letters up and down the end of it. Sure, I don't play baseball, but it'd still be cool to beat the shit out of someone with one.

So he's getting rich off his name; so what? I'd do it too. But he's still over rated, and besides, you can get the same shit without his mane on it for much cheeper. Mabey if Slayer would come out with some signature shit, I'd buy it . But not because it say's "Henneman" or "King series" on it. I'd buy it because I know it would be worth my while.

aaahhhhiieeeyy(say that, it;s fun)

fsdf I got Dime's wah pedal about a month+ a half ago. I connected it w/ my Digitech Death Metal Distortion. They both worked about as good as the combo sounds (death metal+Dimebag!!!!). It has 2 LED lights on the back of the heel side, a red one for the booster, and a green one to show thats the power's on. Well, the power doesn't come on anymore!. I thought it might just be a battery hog, and put in a fresh one. Still Nothing. the booster is still active, and I can still play through my amp (I put it on the clean channel for FX), I plug it in, and it's like it's not there! So I neglected doing something about it for like 2-3 weeks, and then I got tired of the though that I had wasted $150+ from Musician's Friend. I unscrewed the bottom(which is nothing more than a thin alluminum plate), and look for anything wierd on the circuit board (I have no clue how any of that stuff works, I was just looking for noteable flaws), I saw a switch that looks like an on/off switch. my curiousity got the better of me and i flipped the switch. STILL NOTHING> Although I just discoverd that the battey clip is kinda wobbly, it might be just made of cheapo plastic. I want to get this damn pedal working!!!! I paid $150+ for it . SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

Dude, check your warranty on it.
You might be able to return it.

As for Dimebag having 'too much' signature stuff, there's no such thing as 'too many' gear endorsements. More power to those who have them. His gear was conducive to being mass marketed like that, so why not? Besdies, he was a decent guitar player, overrated or not, the man did play well.

To the guy who said he has the Dime Crybaby, so do I. I'm not really sure what the problem is with the battery draining, but if i were you i would get an adapter and just plug it in the whole time so you dont waste time with batteries. That switch inside the circuit board is to switch the output. On one side of the wah(I forget which) there are two holes, one is input and the other is output, and on the other side there is also an output. Normally the input and output that are active are on opposite sides, but when you flick the switch it deactivates that output and activates the other output so that the active input and output are on the same side. Hope that made sense.

I got mine as a gift (I think is was about $150). I originally was thinking of either getting Dime sig wah or a 535Q which is essentially the same. Well even if I bought it with my own money I would not feel that I got ripped off. I'm proud to use gear endorsed by Dime. And its not a bad wah at all, its versatile and sounds very nice, it has those Fasel inductors and I am extremely happy with this wah and I dont regret getting it.

Hey Thorns Of Heaven 200, I tried putting in my axe jack on the s ide 2 output and inputs, and a cable line to the Digitech Death Metal, and into me amp. the green light didn't turn on. So I put that switch on the circut board back to were it originally was. Then I put the cables the same way. No green light Any more suggestions?

If you put the switch back to the original postion the cables should go:
Guitar-->input of wah(right side)-->output of wah(left side)-->input of Death Metal-->output od Death Metal-->amp input
If using batteries make sure they are fresh and still work. I would reccommend getting adapters for your pedals. I'm planning on getting a Boss NS2 which can power other pedals(I will eventually have 5, which is the most it can power) so that I will only have one wall wart and my amp plugged in. I say this because I know having a few pedals all with adapters sucks when it comes to space.

HEY, it works!!! Thanks dude!!!!. I might get that adapter, right now I gotta see if the wah's battery last a decent amount of time. I have'nt used it in so long, idk how long it will last. I usually play anywhere from 1-3 hours a day.

..."And another problem arose" It worked for about 10-15 minutes, and I wasn't continously using it, you know just for leads and crap, and it didn't work again, I put in a fresh battery, nothing. The boost still works,(no point if the wah itself doesn't) so I unscrewed the bottom plate, flipped the switch again, and experimented iwth input/outputs. If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure that the green light SHOULD come on as soon as you have input. That's how it is for the boost, when you push the button, of course. So now I'm stumped. I REALLY don't know if an adapter will make a difference, and I want to be positve it will before I just go and buy one. IF IT MEANS ANYTHING, I unscrewed the rocker torque completely a few days after I got the pedal, I wasn't too fond of the unwanted thick, bassy sound. By the look of it, you need body with tiny hands/fingers to put it back in with the provided Allen wrench. So if somebody has advice, This just may be my last mammoth thread!

A capacitor is a device used for regulating high frequencies, I dont see how that would help your situation.

Umm, it does many different things depending how it is designed into a circuit ( i.e. DC voltage regulation ). Caps can go bad at anytime. They are normally the weakest component in a design too.

Remove the cap and test it to see if its bad. Sometmes you can see that they are bad because they bulge out.

True, but typically its used as high frequency regulator in something like a pedal.

The green light should be on when you press down on and activate the wah, not when you plug into the input. THe rocker torque is just to change the tension of the pedal, which can make it either looser and easier to puch down, or more tense and needs a harder push.
Buying an adapter wont hurt, that will see if the problem is with power or not. ALso, the inputs and outputs holes are kinda tight so make sure the cable is pushed ALL the way in.
How long have you had the wah? I've had mine for about 9-10 months and had no problems with the capacitors. Other than the stuff I just mentioned I dont know why your unit is crapping out randomly.

I got it about the end of June or the very beginning of July. I mentoined the capacitator because I Googled troubleshooting fx pedals, and one site mentioned to check the capacitator if the wah's sound is getting thin. And, because you said that the jacks are tight, I might or might not be putting the cables in the entire way. I looked at them from the bottom when I unscrewed the plate and saw 3 little things for each jack. So, should they ALL be going up or down at the same time or does it matter? One has the middle one raised while the other 2 are down when I plug in a cable.

I'm not sure because I never opened up the bottom plate, but just make sure your connections are tight.

ok, I seriously need somebody to step-by-step guide me with what the f**k to do. I unscrewed the screws on the circuit board to just look for abstractions, and the short, round-topped one by the wah gear's white plastic thingy is off to the side, idk were the hell it's supposed to be (i put all the screws back on, of course.) Now the rocker torque has absolutely NO resistance, when you compress the heel side+take your foot off, it just plops down like my foot wasn't there. If somebody can AIM me anywhere from 11pm-1am Eastern time with what to do, PLEASE SHUT ME THE F**K UP AND give me some advice
