THIS IS SHOCKING!!! I listen to Mudvayne...
hahahaha, yeah this sucks but I think their stuff is pretty good, alot of double bass, thumpin' bass lines, and brutal guitars..
I know their nu fag metal and alot of you know all I listen to is goregrind/crust, but this band I can actually stand... Songs like Determined and Dig are really good. Seriously, people be open minded with music there are alot of bands that get alot of shit and are pretty good.
Is there anyone else who would agree?

I like them too but I'm not that open about it in fear of being flamed. They don't consider themselves numetal but math metal and I agree considering I haven't heard any numetal band like them. They have talent which is something I can't say for any numetal band. But i like them not love them. Their new album isn't that great what I heard of it.

I actually dont call them nu metal, I think of them more as a prorgressive metal band... But I just say NU metal since alot of people place them into that genre.
As for the slipknot comment, uhhh i still think Slipknot aint good, their drummer is good, but I just dont like their vocals at all. And the whole mask thing is old, even Mudvayne quit the whole face paint stuff haha.

They do have moments in songs that I like. I don't dislike them but I don't know if I would call myself a fan. I have no problem with them and I really think their drumer and bass player sound great together. If you like them then I think its great. I seen them live once and in was actually a good show.

BTW guys i love n-sync, i mean i know there like all pop and shit, but they really touch me (no pun intended) , most concerts i go to all the fags are wearing britney spears shirts, but i dont really think of them as pop, there more like death metal with a melodic progressive side to them.

Where is the Jazz? I used to like 'em, back when they were underground . They fucking suck because all they did was try to make a "heavy" first album and then move into soft pussy shit. Don't get me wrong I expand my horizons, but I just can't go back to my horrible, horrible past. |

well there are quite few songs that are really heavy on the new album. Try listening to their song Determined, it sounds like death metal in the beginning cuz i thought after 2 reps of the 1st the drummer would start blast beating, but i was wrong.. But there are quite few songs that are really good.

mudvaynes first cd was ok at the time. but its still not very good. I think they are just weak. and the new stuff is too pussy to call metal, IMO.

i seen a live set they did on tv few years back, sounds alot like the billions of early 90's crossover hardcore/metalcore bands that sucked anyway. the scream your lungs out and roll on the floor aethetic has been done a million times over, thier whole body paint costum thing isn't even remotely interesting and now im wondering what the name means, probably nothing. but then again thats just my first impression
