What are the top of the line bass amps???
I know the basic "top-of-the-line" guitar amps- VHT, bogner, splawn, mesa, deizel, soldano, engl, framus, etc. etc. etc.
What are some bass amps that can counteract (is that the right word?) those guitar amps.

and lest we forget...
SWR!!! They made an amazing tube pre-amp (the Grand Prix model, I believe it was). They also make killer heads, cabs, and combo units.
For cabs, you should look into the british company, "Bag End"
Cheers

It all depends on what you want your bass to sound like. I would consider buying an Ampeg BA210. It has a five style knob to give you a wide range of tones.
