How are Rocktron Velocity amps?

Are these a good enough alternative to tubes for a little while?

(woudl they be better than the ENGL 1.5 watt poweramp in my 530 or the same?)

From what I hear they are the best sounding SS power amp you can buy (the 300 or 500 that is), I'm currently using a Carvin DCM600 and I really like it though, so you may want to check that out.

Yeah, i think i'm gonna complete my rack with a Velocity and Replifex (remote channel switching! dear god that's sweet!!!) and just grab some MIDI controller and learn how to program stuff.

Just remember to grab a velocity 300 or 500.
