Carcass, which era do you prefer?
I like the melodic death metal Carcass produced in the mid 90's. Track 10 on Swansong is fucking great, and so is go to hell. I really like this band, almost as much as Death. Death and Carcass go hand in hand. That's almost all I have listened to today. Me and my drummer were just listening to death all day yesterday, I started walking home then decided it would be a good idea to listen to some CARCASS.

Why isn't this a poll.
And you like swansong??
No wonder you suck.
And the best era is the Symphonies and Necroticsm eras.

Early Carcass is awesome, but I also like stuff from Necrotism, but nothing beyond that. The other stuff sounded too "heavy-metal" for me.

no need to make a big deal about someone's musical preference. I think Swansong is a great album, regardless of what some dickless virgin has to say about it.

I like all the Carcass back catalogue, though favs are Symphonies, Necrotism and Heartwork. Swansong isn't their strongest album but it certainly isn't a 'Turbo' or 'Load' if you get my drift!
They did some odd stuff in their time, what was that track with Bjork about? And The Cult cover?

Necroticism and Tools of the Trade are the only releases I still listen to. Heartwork was disappointing overall for me even though some of it ruled.

I think it's more stupid to stop listening to it because someone called it that.

I love Symphonies and Necroticism the best.Without those albums Gore Grind would not have excisted (well eccept for Impetigo also). Which I always wonderd how Carcass actually came up with their wicked sound.
Heartwork I do like but not as much. Swansong sucked ass.

Necroticism is the best by far
Symphonies is let down by the production but still good, heartwork is a good album.
I cant listen to reek of putrification. The production is so aweful, it's just noise. Swansong is shit if you ask me, it's a rock/metal album, boring.
