Midi Cables for my POD XT
I don't know what kind of midi cables I need for my POD XT...I need to do a flash memory update (among other things) and I can't do it without midi cables...I'm lost again!!! HELP!!!!!!!

you need a usb cable for that
you need to connect your pod xt to your computer and run the appropriate software
i think you have to get the monkey update software, it searches for all possible updates, then you go from there.
you can find the monkey software thingy at the line 6 website:
http://www.line6.com/software/
you have to be a member, but i can host it for you if you havent already got it...

he recently bought a triple recto (i think it was this guy)
oh well maybe he wants this for recording purposes
im eager to hear what he thinks of his recto though
im still considering one, although its below engls on my list

I still have the recto....and unfinished story I'm afraid. The man I took it to repaired it (again....the tubes were SHOT)...I am waiting until payday to buy all brand new tubes from mesa...so it is still a work in progress.
As far as the pod goes, I have the USB cable, everytime I try and update it with that, I get a message that I need to use midi cables....so I'm just lost there.

Well, there is only 1 type of MIDI cable, so if its saying that, then you may have to connect the cables as follows:
PC out -> POD in
PC in -> POD out
