floyd rose tuning

i wanna tune my guitar down to CBCFAD
and every time i do my bridge because its got a recessed body
it sinks in to the body i know its not meant to
but is there any reason why this could be happening
any ways to prevent it.

any help appreciated

Don't you have to adjust the springs or something? To compensate for the difference in string tension?

I apologise that i can't elaborate, fixed bridge for me at the mo

Hehe, all comes from here Just flip your guitar over, arm yourself with a screwdriver, and open up the backplate, so you can get to the cavity where the floyd rose resides, and i think there are some screws (possibly thumbscrews) that you can adjust. You want to tighten the springs so the saddle moves back to a 'central' position

EDIT: check this out, i think its what you're looking for
