Guilty Pleasures 2.0
So, there was a thread about this a while back, but i decided instead of reviving it, I would make a new one.
So...What are some of your "non-metal" guilty pleasures? Perhaps even list a reason why you consider them as such.
As for myself....lets see:
Jack Johnson - I recently heard some of his songs on the soundtrack to "Out Cold" and loved it. There is just a feeling to his music that I can't really describe...i just feel like im at the beach at a party of close friends at sunset...or something like that. Hes almost entirely acoustic, which is something I like.
Maroon 5 - Hate me for it, but I like a song or two. I can't explain that one at all. Perhaps its the hopeless romantic deep inside?
John Mayer - Hated by many, but again i love it. His music is just very enjoyable to chill outside on the porch in the evening with friends.
thats all the guilty pleasures for now, but, they are about as guilty as you can get! haha. Your guys' turn.

You should check out the classic Wall of Voodoo version of that song...
Bjork
Portishead
Morcheeba
Basically great chick singers with psychedelic music in general.

I am not ashamed of any music I like. Being ashamed of liking something is really illogical and asinine.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Why? Flea. (Actually I could listen to them all day, Flea is just a bonus )
And recently I've been listening to Rage Against the Machine.
