They actually live in my town, and I'm happy that they like what they do and are becoming successful at it. However, the description you gave of them is literally right of the promo sticker, and completely off. They're hardcore. Nothing more, nothing less. They get a lot of flack for their Christian stance, but it doesn't really matter. Unfortunately, they sound like about a bullion other bands out there. Whatever. As long as they dig what they're doing...

What can you say FBS? It seems watered down hybrid music is taking over...If any one is interested, I'll throw a kegger in the name of metal. Not the media's metal, but the metal that we were all brought up on.

Fuckin awesome band I reckon. Nothing thats gonna change the world but nonetheless a great band. The first track although simple is just cool. Plus it always helps to have the Danzig influence I think 
A good band but imho check out Mendeed, they are from Scotland UK and are by far a better band. |

New media forms mean that a 'new sound' gets co-opted very quickly. There is but a tiny gap between A's innovation and B's hackery. Combine that with this median-cut 'accepted new heavy' sound and what do you get? Lots and lots and lots of new metalcore bands who think the new tattoos, occasional offbeat and punctuated scream doesn't make them boring. It's not BAD, it's just boring. Which is worse.
