Ron Thal, aka Bumbblefoot does it. There is a video of him doing it on his website, and here is a tab for it I've had for quite some time, got it from powertabs.net.

I don't understand how anyone can play it.

Must involve a fuckload of tapping and totally wacked-out pinch harmonics on guitar. 0.o

Fantaisie-Impromptu Opus 66.

to play this on one guitar, youll need both hands tapping, therefore, no harmonics. the lowest note is an Fx, or G- a 6th below the low E. the highest note is an E, an octave above high E at the 24th fret.

therefore the need of a custom guitar is required.

id use a 7 string with 36 frets, tuned to a C# modal tuning, with the low string being tuned to G or Fx obviously since it is the lowest note.
id use this tuning, from low to high, G C# F# B E B E. the top 2 strings are standard, strings 6-3 are tuned down a minor third from standard and string 7 is a third below low B.

then, look through the piano score and arrange it for guitar.

however, arranging this piece for 2 guitars and bass (as in most bands) would be too easy, and should make for an awesome addition to a live show.
