boss PS-5 - harmoniser
Is this the best thing to get?
im looking for a stomp box (not multi effects)
which can harmonise both intelligently and um stupidly?
does a digitech whammy do this?
I havent found any other thing which does the same
I searched, couldnt find the answer

im not sure if there are any other stompboxes that harmonize, but theres some rack gear that does, but thats either multi effect or verry expensive

the whammy does it, it sounds all shitty though, like computery, doesnt even harmonize with a sound thats resembles your guitar at all.

Err, it 'harmonizes' your guitar, so you can get 3rds, 4ths, octave etc. just shifts the pitch and adds it to your signal, so it sounds like two guitars are playing  |

a harmonizer makes extra note from what ur playing.
like a pitchshifter, say unplay a single note and the effect makes a octave with it.
xept a harmonizer is more advance doesnt only make octaves but aslo 3rd 4ths and 5ths wich can make solos rilli sweet

if you want "the best" go with an eventide rack harmonizer. but the boss and digitechs are fine. if you go whammy you gotta go wh-1, the others just arent the same.

well that wont suit me then, i have a fucking dodgy floyd guitar that i cant be bothered to keep in tune
man, im definately getting a fixed bridge guitar next time, so much easier and less hassel |

as soon as i find my camera attachy-to-computer thingy i'll post a pic of the floyd block job i did to my ibanez's.
if you don't use the whammy like me(sorry van halen) blocking your floyd is the way to go.
