Having my right wrist tattooed..I think that was worse. Some parts didn't feel very fun, but as a whole it wasn't that bad. Less painful than I expected and it was over before I knew it. It only took 50 minutes.

Shading on the back of your calf for 4 hours straight is a lot more painful.

So yeah I'm thinking about a shoulder-tattoo, but the designing will take a LONG time.

This should be the basic idea (do NOT pay attention to the finish, oh god no).

The skeleton should run down my arm, and the wings should be on the sides of my shoulder. In between the wings I might get a sigil carved and/or burnt. This really is very basic, somehow I still want the Angel Gabriël, some lines in Arabic (Azra'il for instance), Kali and Azrael and perhaps some more put in there, but in a reeeaally subtle way, it shouldn't be too eclectic. Which is why I think it will take at least half a year to finish the design (in a more professional fashion)

Yes it is, and it ís their design. I like the design very much (the supporting of the Wings gives it a very "Da Vinci"-quality, as in it's realisable), and of course everything they do I hold in high regard, but I purely chose this for its design though. I always found band-tattoo's a bit dumb.

Right on, I know a bassist with a bass clef tattoo on his forearm.

My tattoo artist is soon going to draw up a big hop vine that will partially wrap around my right ankle/calf. Although I'm still deciding if it should wrap around or just be vertical.

After that I'm thinking of getting a big goblin/ogre tattoo..kinda hard to find some good detailed pictures on the internet but I'm thinking about getting something like this on my shoulder blade.

I had a conversation at the gym yesterday with this random huge guy about if I knew any reputable tattoo artists locally. We started to talk about a guy we both heard of that owns a shop here, and he is either high or half drunk when he does tattoos..

haha, he said to the guy's friend, "Do you mind if I have a couple of drinks while I do this?" Yeah, I would mind..

A few of my high school friends got shitty tattoos done buy a guy who would trade tattoos for drugs, clothes and even meat such as steaks. haha.

yeah, a tattoo party. My buddy had a birthday party and hired two artists to come do tattoos all night. A lot of artists like to do tattoo parties because the money they make is all profit, while when they do stuff out of a shop, they only get a portion of profit from the work they do. You guys don't have those out where you live?
