floyd rose trem arm
hey
as soon as this is answered
could one of the mods close the thread but please dont close it before
i get an answer thanks
i have a floyd trem on my guitar
and im having problems with the trem arm on it
its probably just common sense but i just need some help
when i tighten the bottom bit with the thread
and it goes tight,as soon as i go to use the bar it starts to loosen
and just literally falls out also i know about the allen key hole at the back of the trem but i dont know wether to tighten that
any help much appreciated

i dont rilli understand the prob
could u explain a bit closer
do u mean that u screw the arm on so that it stays in 1 position, and that it gets loose when u use it or sumtin??

is the screw wire ok?? like maybe there some screw threads missing or sumtin
i never have had that problem with my original floyd, is urs a licensed or original?? maybe that has to do with it

its a kramer locking trem
and if i just buy a new trem arm do you think
that will help
btw i dont think its the thread but
im not sure about that either

im not sure if a new arm wil help, it the current arm isnt as it should be it would work, but if its the trem that not completely ok then well i guess ur fucked then 
did u try going to a store and ask them if they have experience with that kinda problem??
maybe the trem arm is worn out wich makes it do that??
i dunno wether the trem is brand new or 10 years old so
im just telling u whatever somes up in my head that MIGHT be the prob.

also the guitar is pretty old its a discontinued ibanez rg 220
but heavily modified

yea mine does that to... but it's understandable since I broke the thing that you screw the trem arm in when I was being stupid but it still works so mehh...
